Our team was super excited to travel to Jamaica in 2019. We traversed as much of the country as we could in six days. During our stay, we visited five parishes–Hanover, St. James, Trelawny, St. Ann, and Kingston.
We stayed at Round Hill Hotel and Villas in Hopewell, a town in the parish of Hanover. We ran several errands in Montego Bay in St. James, briefly toured the Falmouth Historic District in Trelawny, enjoyed the waterfalls in Ocho Rios in St. Ann and participated in a cultural tour in Kingston, the country’s capital.

Getting Around
With pre-arranged airport transfer service already booked, as soon as we landed, we were whisked away to the resort.
We find that hiring a local driver that knows the area is the best way to get around so we were expertly driven to nearby stores in Montego Bay, to Catherine Hall to catch performances at Reggae Sumfest, and to Ocho Rios.
To get to Kingston, we caught a Knutsford Express bus from a stop near the popular Pier 1 Restaurant, Bar and Entertainment Center in Montego Bay. Knutsford Express is a luxury passenger bus that transports passengers to major cities and the airports in Jamaica. You can easily purchase your tickets online, arrive in time to catch the bus, and even get a little work done on the bus as it offers complimentary WiFi service and onboard charging outlets.
We culled through hundreds of photos and videos to find 30 photos and three videos to capture what our stay was like. Some photos feature interesting sights from the trip, others show the mundane.
