Bioluminescence simply means "living light". Depending on the night and location you may see three types of bioluminescence with the most common being Dinoflagellates. Dinoflagellates make the water glow every time the water is agitated. You will see "stars" moving underneath your all clear kayak and it will look like your going through the galaxy at warp speed.
