- Created in association Loi 1960 since 2013, the Museum of Photography of Madagascar has a mission to digitize the photographs taken in Madagascar between 1860 and 1960 to, on the one hand preserve and enhance the Malagasy photographic heritage and on the other hand , to encourage the appropriation by the Malagasy people of history. - The Museum is open every day from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm. (Closed on Mondays) The Museum is open on: March 8; March 29; ascent August 15th The Museum is closed on: January 1st, Easter Sunday, May 1st, Pentecost Sunday, June 26th, November 1st . The Museum closes from December 24th to 26th and from December 31st to January 2nd.
