Created in association Loi 1960 since 2013, the Museum of Photography of Madagascar has a mission to digitize the photographs taken in Madagascar between 1860 and 1960 to, on the one hand preserve and enhance the Malagasy photographic heritage and on the other hand , to encourage the appropriation by the Malagasy people of history. The Museum is open every day from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm. (Closed on Mondays) The Museum is open on: March 8; March 29; ascent August 15th The Museum is closed on: January 1st, Easter Sunday, May 1st, Pentecost Sunday, June 26th, November 1st . The Museum closes from December 24th to 26th and from December 31st to January 2nd.
