- Since January 2009, the Maui Oceanfront Marathon has led runners on a scenic oceanfront run from Wailea to Kamehameha Iki Park in Old Lahaina Town. Runners may catch a glimpse of a whale or a rainbow and will definitely enjoy beautiful mountain vistas along the course. A half marathon, 10K and 5K are also part of the event.
