The John Young Museum of Art is a 2,000+ square foot complex that includes galleries, workshops, a small research library, an office, and an outdoor courtyard. John Young Museum of Art is administered by the College of Arts & Humanities and directly aligned with the Department of Art & Art History. The museum is a venue for Asian-Pacific artist-in-residences, art history exhibitions, and student-centered programming that promote, support, and sustain museum education initiatives for University of Hawaii at Manoa and the local community.
