Mercury Fest is held each August at Pigeon Island National Landmark in St. Lucia and since its start in 2018 it is considered the ultimate beach party. Its name derives from the dozens of Mercury engine powered boats that arrive before the event kicks off. Partygoers enjoy live performances and DJ sets on the beach. The event attracts people from other Caribbean islands including Martinique, Trinidad, Dominica, Guadeloupe, Dominican Republic and others from the United States, the UK, and El Salvador.
