Greengos Caribbean Cantina – St. Thomas

Greengos Caribbean Cantina has three locations serving Sonoran style Mexican food–it’s St. John and St. Thomas locations in the U.S. Virgin Islands and its third in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

While the food is the main draw (think slow roasted meat and chilis and spices imported directly from the Sonoran Desert region), the amazing tequila choices and funky dining spaces adds to its appeal. The St. John location includes a library ladder and cool murals, the St. Thomas location is housed in a historic Dutch building in Hibiscus Alley on the waterfront in Charlotte Amalie, and its San Juan location boasts the island’s largest selection of tequilas served in a historic building decorated with large murals and accentuated by 20 foot ceilings and arched doors.
